All the products you see reviewed here on FishingGearGuru were personally tested by the authors. We don't re-print press releases, we don't fake it, and we don't take anyone's word for anything. In many cases the products have been tested on an extended basis, for months or years. When new gear comes out we'll use and abuse it until we're satisfied we can give it a fair review without missing or glossing over an item's strengths and weaknesses. If something turns out to be a piece of junk we don't even talk about it on FishingGearGuru.com, so if you see a product reviewed at all, we felt it was a worthy buy for one reason or another.
